My card starts with the Winter Collection 2014 papers. The sentiment and stars are from His Birth set. The pattern in the stars matches the pattern in the papers. The stars were cut using Sparkling Stars dies. I wish the picture showed all of the sparkle from gold embossing on the stars to golden thread and golden stitches. Even the paper with the sentiment sparkles. Lastly the sparkle on the golden dots. You'll want to visit the rest of the Challenge Team for more inspiration on this challenge:

Hey all! Today's card was made with one of those happy surprises I discovered in my Christmas stash purchased last year! It's a Spellbinders 3D M-Bossabilities folder. I searched Pinterest to see cards created using this folder and came across this beautiful card by Debbie Olson. I do love her work and stalk her often! Debbie airbrushed her card and shared the Copic colors she used. Since I've been dabbling in airbrushing as in the Little Drummer Boy card I thought I would CASE her card. Hope you'll visit Debbie's blog and see what this jewel looks like airbrushed by a pro! The things I changed were distressing the edges and mounting on green cardstock. I played around with other larger bows and embellishments but decided to keep it flat for mailing. Sentiment is from the ODBD His Birth set with die cutting using ODBD Mini Tags. Thanks for visiting!
Hello! My stamp room is small and overrunning with supplies. Just ask my husband!! I share the room with the washer/dryer. This means each year I have to store Christmas supplies out of the way. However, when I pull those Christmas supplies out I'm excited because I purchase after Christmas sales and then forget what I bought! It's like Christmas before Christmas! This Sizzix embossing folder is one of those finds! Imagine my excitement to find it fits the Merry Christmas ornamentas well as all the other ornaments fromOur Daily Bread Designs. All I did was emboss the ornament with Christmas embossing power, emboss the folder with glittery embossing powder, add a frame using Circle Ornament dies and then pearls. Easy and classic! Thanks for visiting!
Hi friends! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving! It's now time to turn all of our attention to Christmas. Our biweekly challenge at Shining the Light with Our Daily Bread Designs is to make a Christmas card using ODBD stamps only.
This wasn't the original card I had in mind to show you. I was sick over Thanksgiving and gotten behind creating. I had another card until I....are you ready for this.....stamped the sentiment upside down!! In all my years of stamping I have never stamped a sentiment upside down!
Since I had to start all over I turned to these beautiful papers and let them do the job for me. It's clean, simple, easy to mail and lovely. I plan to try my original card again with different results!
